I found yoga during the pursuit of my master’s degree in 2008 for stress relief and strength building. As my practice grew, I learned the true healing and growth that happens on the mat. I obtained my RYT 200 Yoga Alliance Certification in 2015, and then went on to earn my E-RYT 200, (Experienced - Registered Yoga Teacher) in 2019. Honoring my given yoga name of "Prapitika" or "one who Manifests", I started teaching immediately after graduation. I found so much fulfillment from sharing the gift of yoga with others!

The highly extensive background in the anatomy of the human body that I obtained from the pursuit of my master's degree has created an ideal foundation for the multi-level format of my classes, accommodation of injury/illness, and modification for human variation. My student base is very diverse in age, body type, injury/illness pathology, and mental health status. Witnessing people find space in their body and pain relief further motived me to continue my learning.

In addition to my yoga certification and advanced academic degree, I have completed:

  • SUP Yoga from Yoga Energy School

  • Trauma Conscious Training from Connected Warriors

  • Hands on Adjustment, Verbal Cues, & Alignment from Maria Bennet Rachman

  • Healthy Sequencing of Standing Poses with Vinyasa from Rodeny Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee

  • Chakra Yoga: Experiencing the Mind-Body-Heart Connection from Seane Corn

  • Build Strength and Confidence for Arm Balances and Inversions from Jason Crandall

  • The Depth of Yoga Psychology: Integrating Mind & Spirit with Alanna Kaivalya

  • Sanskrit Studies/Luminous Soul Module 1 & 2 with Manorama

And many more workshops and day-long trainings (view my whole resume using the link above). Click on the link above to book a private yoga session with me, or attend a studio class in Weston, Florida. I am also available for studio visits.
